If you like the great outdoors, then this is a place for you!  Surrounded by lush forest land and the Trinity River in our backyard, you will find there is plenty of outdoor fun to be had: White Water Rafting, Fly Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Hiking, Bird Watching, Photography, Biking – both on and off road, Hunting, and History Exploring. There is something for everyone!

With previous races taking place in Italy in 2012, Australia in 2013 and Scotland in October 2014, Weaverville will be the first location in the United States to host this international event.

Take a relaxing drive to one of the beautiful Trinity County vineyards nestled in our scenic mountains.   Alpen Cellars and One Maple Winery are located in the 96,000 acre “Trinity Lakes” viticulture area, recognized for its unique growing conditions.  Both vineyards have scenic picnic areas for your enjoyment, so be sure to pack your favorite food or snack when visiting!

Or take a leisurely drive to the Coast and visit the beautiful town of Trinidad to experience the exceptional wines of Moonstone Crossing.  While you are there, be sure to visit the beautiful California Redwoods!
